Bio
Your Hostess Yasmeen Salama
Yasmeen is a cinematic music composer, world winds player, and action adventure author. She created the Emporium of Melodies to tell the tales untold, to showcase the unique (melodies, instruments, and people alike) and transport listeners to new worlds through film and video game covers, and original music.
She plays ocarina, tin whistle, recorder, flute, keys, dizi, duduk, hulusi, quena, panpipes, harmonium, and vocals.
Completely self-taught, Yasmeen has performed her cinematic music adventure at festivals (including SXSW) for children at community events and libraries, and local venues across Texas and California.
